Which player do y'all use? I wish I could get a simple, instent access to it. My presets right at my fingertips.

I usually use the live 365 player. It usually should pop up, but you have to hold down your control key with the space bar or your enter key with the space bar if you have a pop up blocker on. It's in a seperate window when you click on a station. It should say new brouser window.
Hope that helps.

I have had no problems, just letting the live365 player do its thing. Perhaps Lady Mercury is right, you have a pop up blocker fighting your computer, or, perhaps some other of your settings is hurting you.

I found that on my system, if I had real player running, real player would run the live365 station, which I didn't want to happen. So, I just make sure that real player is not running when I listen to live365.

Hope this helps,
Bob

Thanks all. Yes, I currently use the live 365 player as well. I was hoping there were some other suggestions. I have the live365 link on my desktop, but it would be cool if I could just directly reach my stations. smile!

I listen to this all the time and save my favorites in winamp. It is easy and I find some stations that play all the new stuff in the genres that I love the most. Also when you think about it they do have a lot more stations then satalite.

I think I understand what you want to do. Here's what I've done:
First, I set up a bunch of favorites on the live365 main page. Then I went to one of those favorites--it doesn't matter which one--and started it playing. While in that window, I wanted to put that into my favorites, so I tried alt+a, but no go since they've disabled menus, so I pressed control+d to put it at the bottom of my favorites. I now go to my favorites from my browser window press the letter l until I hear "live365 player window", and press enter.

I will see if there is some way to put a shortcut on your desktop; there should be.

Hope this helps.

Hey bob, thanks! I'll give it a whirl! I thinking windows media would make it easier, because they have live365 in the list now, but no dice. Aw'well, I won't complain too much...grin. I love live365!

I love live365 too, I play it often. It seems to work seemlessly with jaws, in fact, I've had live365 playing, jaws monitoring and kurzweil 1000 reading a book simultaneously with no problems.

After my last post I went back to try to get to the menu bar, but those guys are slick, and they've stymied me for now.

But, as I said, you can use control d to put it in your favorites and find it pretty easily. You know that there is a combo box in there that shows all your favorites. You can select from that to change stations but beaware it's one of those funky combo boxes that you have to press alt + down arrow after you go into forms mode or it will select the next station in line.

I tried it with windows media player (had a hard time getting live365 to recognize it as my default player) and after I did, I hated it. I've never tried it in winamp.

Cool, it worked! I did the control d thing, then after made a shortcut on the desktop. Now, I can quickly grab that, when that's all I want to do! wooh-hooh! Thank you!
